Science and Innovation Reinvestment Act (MOSIRA)

MOSIRA Current Status:

The Missouri General Assembly did not pass any economic development legislation during the 2010 session, including the Missouri Science and Innovation Reinvestment Act (MOSIRA). While the budgetary shortfalls facing the state are challenging, Missouri cannot budget-cut its way to prosperity. Cut are necessary, of course, but the State must continue to invest in innovation and forward-looking proposals that could significantly help rebuild Missouri’s economy and position the State for future growth.
